Fugly painting stage

Ah, the fugly stages of my paintings – it’s like watching a makeover gone wrong!

Just like life, paintings start off all shiny and promising. You’ve got this brilliant idea in your head, maybe a tad blurry, but it’s there. Then, as you start bringing it to life, it hits the fugly phase – that awkward, “what have I done?!” stage from point A to point B.
