Hailee Steinfeld and Mara The Rug

You remember when in the beginning of this year I told you that the RUGS I produced together with Wear The House will hit the big story?
Ok, so here it is!
Mara The Rug found a home with Hailee Steinfeld, an American actress and singer. I hear you ask me “How did that happen?”.
Well let me tell you a story.
It was January 23rd 2023 when I opened my Instagram app. It was like sometime right after lunch. I see a message from someone that is asking me about my art but I really don’t pay attention to it to much. I did respond to the message. And then I get message back, which catches my eye. Well basically the blue tick in the name and 21M followers caught my eye.
I was like wait - what ? Who is that? Now, you need to know that as much as little I watch TV and movies I don’t know the names of actors and main model roles in the world. It’s just not my gig to remember the names. I can’t remember a name of people I meet just like that, and then when I meet them again I feel so silly when I have to ask again for their name. But then I remember that name and never forget. As I will not forget Hailee’s name either.
So as average person in these days if I am not familiar with a person or a thing I google it. So I googled Hailee Steinfeld that the

While I read Wikipedia text I was like - what - wait - what? I know her! I listen to her music while I paint! No way!!
That same night I spoke to Jen, the founder and creative director of Wear The House who tells me about Hailee Steinfeld looking into the RUG MARA .
And then everything became quiet. No news for days, nor weeks. I didn’t loose the hope but I did stop paying attention to what if she does proceed with owning a work of mine. It’s really annoying when you hook yourself up with “WHAT IF”, isn’t it?
Until middle of February when I heard back from Jen again, that Hailee chose the rug and that it will be part of her home.
Now, yesterday I again opened my IG, I have notifications turned off so I don’t hang all day on my Instagram, that I see a post from Hailee tagging me in her stories about the rug being with her. I mean - this is a dream come true. A Holiday movie star to own something of mine?! If this is possible then every-freaggin’-thing-is-possible.

I am so grateful for Wear The House to made my dream come true in our collaboration with these three awesome rugs of ours. I will always love those two creators (Jen and David), who listen to my story and were willing to be part of it themselves.
